Babar Azam is joint-fastest to complete 6,000 runs in ODIs

Former Pakistan skipper Babar Azam became the joint-fastest player to score 6,000 runs in the one-day internationals (ODIs) on Friday.

The right-handed batter achieved the milestone in the tri-series final against New Zealand at the Karachi stadium.

He joined former South African cricketer Hashim Amla in the top category as both of them achieved the milestone in 123 innings.

India’s Virat Kohli stands at the second position with 136 innings while cricketers Kane Williamson and David Warner achieved it in 139 innings.
