Karachi saw a drop in temperature as icy winds swept back on Saturday, resulting in colder weather. The minimum temperature recorded was 11°C, a decrease of 2.5°C from Friday.
Cold winds began to move through various areas of the city overnight from Friday to Saturday, leading to a chillier Saturday morning.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, temperatures varied across different weather stations. The lowest was noted at Jinnah Terminal with 9.7°C, while other readings included 12.3°C in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, 12.5°C in Mauripur, and 14.5°C at Shahrah-e-Faisal.
Looking ahead, the Early Warning Center of the Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather with cool nights in the coming days. Minimum temperatures are expected to range from 11°C to 13°C, while maximums may reach between 26°C and 28°C.
The forecast indicated that winds would primarily come from the northeast, with potential fog developing in the central and upper districts during the mornings.
