Govt raises diesel price by Rs11.30 per litre for next fortnight
The federal government on Saturday raised the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs11.30 per litre for the next fortnight, while keeping petrol prices unchanged.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the new price of HSD has been set at Rs268.38 per litre, up from Rs257.08.

The decision follows recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and will take effect from February 1.
In the previous fortnightly review, the government had left petrol prices unchanged and reduced the price of high-speed diesel by Rs14 per litre.
