Gold prices hit fresh record highs in local, global markets
Gold prices recorded another sharp increase in local and international markets on Thursday, pushing rates to fresh record highs.
In the domestic market, the price of gold rose by Rs21,200 per tola, taking it to an all-time high of Rs572,862.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs18,175 to reach Rs491,136 — also a record.
In the international market, gold prices also surged, rising by $212 to trade at $5,505 per ounce.
The latest surge reflects continued volatility in global bullion markets, with prices climbing to unprecedented levels.
