Hip-hop star Nicki Minaj doubled down on her support for President Donald Trump on Wednesday at the “Trump Accounts Summit” in Washington, D.C., calling him “bullied” and “smeared” and declaring herself “probably the president’s No. 1 fan.”

Minaj told the audience that criticism of Trump does not affect her and motivates her to support him more.

Trump joked about her wealth and the $16 billion in contributions to Trump Accounts, while the White House later posted a photo of the two together with the caption: “BARBZ x MAGA.”

Minaj announced she would contribute $150,000 to $300,000 to fund her fans’ Trump Accounts, a Section 530A individual retirement account program providing $1,000 for children born between 2025 and 2028 if parents enrol them.

She previously described the program as promoting “early financial literacy & financial support for our children.”

The rapper’s public support of Trump follows a series of appearances endorsing conservative causes.

In December, Minaj appeared at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest, praising the administration and calling Trump “handsome and dashing.”

She also criticised support for trans youth, voiced concerns about boys being discouraged from traditional masculinity, and emphasised her Christian faith during the event.

Minaj’s support has divided her fan base, known as the “Barbz,” as she continues to openly back the president and conservative policies.
