Babar Azam withdraws from the remaining matches of the Big Bash League

Leading Pakistan cricketer Babar Azam has withdrawn from the remaining matches of the Big Bash League (BBL) after his poor run with the bat came under sharp criticism.

The Sydney Sixers have announced that at the request of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Babar Azam, who scored 202 runs in 11 matches, will no longer participate in the remaining matches of the league and will join the Pakistan team camp.

A statement issued by the Sydney Sixers said that they are extremely grateful for Babar Azam’s services to the team.

The team appreciated his involvement in a short time and praised his work.

After Babar Azam’s return, the Sydney Sixers will be deprived of his services in the upcoming matches of the Big Bash League.

Earlier, on the social networking website X, the Sydney Sixers announced Babar Azam’s unavailability for the remaining matches.
