A case has been registered against a group of lawyers for allegedly assaulting YouTuber Rajab Butt inside Karachi City Court, his lawyer confirmed on Tuesday.

According to the complaint filed at the City Court police station, 15 to 20 lawyers attacked Butt, physically assaulted him, and snatched his bag containing Rs300,000.

While one lawyer returned the bag, the money was missing.

Butt’s lawyer also stated that his client received death threats during the incident.

The case has been officially lodged under the legal representation of Butt’s lawyer, and authorities are investigating the matter.
