Islamabad blast: Tailor who made suicide vest, facilitator arrested
Authorities have arrested a tailor who allegedly prepared the suicide vest used in the Islamabad Judicial Complex bombing, officials said on Saturday.
A facilitator who transported the vest from Peshawar to Islamabad has also been arrested, sources said.
Further revelations are expected as the investigation continues.
The suicide vest used in the attack was made in Peshawar and kept for several days with the tailor.
The intelligence agencies have taken the tailor into custody.
The vest was reportedly transported from Peshawar to Islamabad, hidden in a bag filled with jaggery.
Following the arrests of the tailor and the facilitator, investigations are ongoing, and the sources maintained that additional crucial details are likely to emerge.
More arrests are also expected in the coming days.
