Fans of Pakistani cinema in the UAE will have a chance to meet Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan at Dubai’s Global Village this month.

The stars of the upcoming film Neelofar are scheduled to appear at the venue on November 20.

Global Village announced the event on Instagram, saying the actors will join City 1016 FM on the Main Stage at 8:30pm.

Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, whose pairing became widely popular through Humsafar and The Legend of Maula Jatt, reunite in Neelofar, a film that has been in development for years.

The teaser released last month hinted at a tender love story, heightening anticipation among fans.

Written and directed by Ammar Rasool, the romantic drama is produced by Fawad Khan and marks the duo’s third collaboration.

The teaser suggests Mahira Khan plays Neelofar, a blind woman whose emotional journey shapes the life of writer Mansoor Ali Khan, played by Fawad Khan.

Speaking to City Times, Mahira said portraying a blind character was challenging, noting that she had to convince herself and the audience that she could not see despite being aware of her surroundings during filming.

Neelofar is set to release on November 28.
