The Night Manager: Tom Hiddleston returns as Jonathan Pine
The teaser for Season 2 of The Night Manager, starring Tom Hiddleston, is finally here, setting the stage for the crime drama’s highly anticipated return in 2026.
After eight years, Hiddleston reprises his role as former British intelligence operative Jonathan Pine.
The teaser shows Pine grappling with memories of past trauma, yet determined not to break.
“I am the man who will not explode,” he declares.
Filmed across the UK, Spain, Colombia, and France, the new season follows Pine, now living under the alias Alex Goodwin, on a dangerous mission to uncover a conspiracy aimed at destabilising a nation.
According to the official synopsis, Pine has been living quietly as a low-level MI6 officer running a surveillance unit in London.
A chance sighting of an old Roper mercenary reignites his past and propels him into a violent confrontation with a new antagonist: Colombian businessman Teddy Dos Santos (Diego Calva).
Along the way, he teams up with businesswoman Roxana Bolanos (Camila Morrone), who reluctantly helps him infiltrate Teddy’s Colombian arms operation.
“Once in Colombia, Pine is plunged into a deadly plot involving arms and guerrilla training.
As alliances fracture, he must race to expose the conspiracy and decide whose trust is worth earning before it’s too late,” the makers said.
The first three episodes will premiere on Prime Video on January 11, 2026, with new episodes releasing every Sunday until the season finale on February 1.
The six-episode season will stream worldwide on Prime Video (excluding the UK) and on BBC/BBC iPlayer in the UK.
The sequel brings back Olivia Colman as Angela Burr, alongside newcomers Diego Calva, Camila Morrone, Indira Varma, Paul Chahidi, and Hayley Squires.
The Night Manager Season 2 is created and executive produced by David Farr, and fully directed by BAFTA-winner Georgi Banks-Davies.
