Katy Perry is gearing up for a return to music after more than a year, sending fans into excitement as she announced her new single, Band-Aids on X

The track is scheduled for release on November 6 and will pave the way for her next album, following her 2024 project 143.

Perry is currently on her Lifetime Tour, and alongside her music, she remains in the spotlight amid rumours about her personal life.

Speculation about her being linked to former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has recently circulated online.

During an appearance on the Smart Girl Dumb Questions podcast, DJ Diplo joined the conversation light-heartedly, joking about past connections.

“Now, Katy Perry’s dating Justin Trudeau,” he teased, calling it “pretty fire,” before quipping that he “would have dated Trudeau too,” but added, “I’m just not into politicians. He is kinda hot.”

Diplo previously had a brief romantic relationship with Perry in 2014.
