Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif، at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, will lead a high-level delegation to Riyadh from October 27 to 29 to attend the Ninth Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9), the Foreign Office said in a statement on Saturday.

The delegation will include Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and senior cabinet ministers.

According to the Foreign Office, the FII9 will bring together global leaders, investors, policymakers and innovators to discuss the theme “The Key to Prosperity: Unlocking New Frontiers of Growth.” The conference will address major global challenges and opportunities, focusing on innovation, sustainability, economic inclusion and geopolitical developments.

During his visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will meet the Saudi leadership to explore avenues for enhanced cooperation in trade, investment, energy and human resource development. The discussions will also cover regional and global issues of mutual interest.

On the sidelines of the event, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to interact with leaders from other participating countries and heads of international organisations to highlight Pakistan’s investment potential and its commitment to sustainable development under the “Think, Exchange, and Act” framework.

“The visit underscores Pakistan’s commitment to advancing economic diplomacy and fostering strategic partnerships in investment, technology, and sustainable development,” the Foreign Office added.
