Mike Hesson dedicates Pakistan’s back-to-back victories to flood victims

'We are praying for safety and strength for all those affected back in Pakistan'

Pakistan Head Coach Mike Hesson has dedicated the national team’s “back-to-back” wins to the victims of destructive floods across the country.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he said, “These back-to-back wins are dedicated to everyone affected by the floods in Pakistan.”

Hesson also extended his prayers and well wishes to all the flood-affected people of the country.

“Some people are really struggling, and we are praying for safety and strength for all those affected back in Pakistan,” he wrote.

Team Pakistan is currently in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), to compete in a tri-nation T20 series along with Afghanistan and the UAE ahead of the upcoming Asia Cup 2025.

Led by Salman Agha, the Pakistan team have won the back-to-back matches against Afghanistan and UAE.
