Lahore court sentences Indian terrorist to 20 years in prison
Indian national, involved in espionage, convicted for smuggling explosives into Pakistan
A Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has sentenced Indian terrorist Osman, also known as Abdul Rahman, to 20 years in prison.
The court convicted Osman following a thorough trial.
During the proceedings, the prosecutor argued that the convict, a former Indian national, was also an active spy who currently holds Afghan citizenship.
The prosecution revealed that Osman entered Pakistan via Chaman and was apprehended with explosive materials in his possession.
The case was filed by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Lahore in 2024.
