Tremors from an earthquake have been reported in several areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, Chitral, Swat, Abbottabad, and Mansehra.

In addition, residents of Rawalpindi and Islamabad also felt the shaking, with Swabi, Mardan, and Dera Ismail Khan experiencing the quake as well, leading to widespread fear and panic.

The earthquake was recorded with a magnitude of 5.2, and its epicenter was situated in the Hindu Kush mountains.
