Property dispute turns deadly in twin cities, claims three lives
A horrific triple murder in the twin cities left three people dead — including two women — and a minor boy seriously injured, in what police say was the result of a property dispute.
According to police, the suspect, identified as Mohammad Ali, first killed his father, Mahmood Hussain, and sister, Shabnam Zahida, at their home in Islamabad’s Shehzad Town.
After the killings, he travelled to Rawalpindi’s Adiala Road, where he murdered his other sister, Anjum Zahira, by slitting her throat with a sharp-edged weapon. He also critically injured her young son during the attack.
Rawalpindi police have taken the suspect into custody and launched an investigation into the triple homicide.
