A tragic incident occurred during rafting in the tourist spot of Jhuq Kachora in Gilgit-Baltistan, where three tourists fell into the river after the boat capsized.

According to the police, the three tourists were identified as Asad, Ahmed and Aqsa, and they all belong to Karachi.

Rescue operations were initiated immediately, resulting in the successful recovery of Asad. However, Ahmed and Aqsa are still missing. Quest for their search still continues in various areas of the river.

According to police officials, the government had banned rafting and swimming after the recent flash floods, but despite this rafting continued and led to the accident.

After the incident, the administration has issued instructions to tourists to fully comply with government orders so that such accidents can be avoided.
