SC constitutional bench term extended till November 30
The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) has extended the tenure of the Supreme Court’s constitutional bench until November 30, according to official sources.
A decision to this effect was taken during a meeting of the JCP, held under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Yahya Afridi.
The session focused on crucial judicial decisions and administrative matters concerning the higher judiciary.
The sources confirmed that the commission approved the extension of Justice Aminuddin Khan’s term, along with other members of the constitutional bench, allowing the panel to continue its work on key constitutional matters through the end of November.
