In a heartbreaking event in the Azakhel Bala area of Nowshera, three children lost their lives after consuming poisonous sweets.

Their mother is currently in critical condition. The victims, identified as 8-year-old Maryam, 6-year-old Hareem, and 4-year-old Yuman, were rushed to the hospital following the incident.

Rescue sources report that the children’s bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, while their mother received immediate medical attention at Qazi Hussain Ahmed Memorial Hospital.

Authorities, including the police, have launched an investigation into the case. Initial findings suggest that the children’s health deteriorated after ingesting the toxic sweets.
