Pakistan declares emergency at hospitals
Emergency measures have been implemented across the country. Immediate summons have been issued for officers and staff from all relevant agencies, including civil defense, and all hospital leave for doctors and medical personnel has been canceled to ensure prompt medical assistance in case of emergencies.
Chairman of the Grand Health Alliance (GHA) Punjab, Dr. Salman Haseeb, announced the swift restoration of indoor services in hospitals. He condemned India’s nighttime actions, which targeted various cities in Pakistan, raising serious concerns about potential loss of life.
Dr. Haseeb reaffirmed the medical sector’s commitment to standing alongside the Pakistan Armed Forces, ready to provide immediate care to the injured.
Medical services have been activated in wards and facilities, with all operations for treating the injured underway.
