Pakistan braces for intense heat with isolated rains in northern regions
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast predominantly hot and dry weather across most parts of the country, with temperatures soaring significantly above normal in several regions.
In Islamabad and surrounding areas, residents can expect scorching daytime conditions, though skies may turn partly cloudy by evening and night.
Punjab is set to experience severe heat, with temperatures likely to remain 4-6 degree Celsius higher than average.
Balochistan will continue to endure hot and dry weather, though the Pothohar region might see some cloud cover in the evening, while southern districts could face temperatures 3-5 degree Celsius above normal.
Sindh will also remain under the grip of dry and hot weather, with partly cloudy skies expected in upper districts.
Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may witness isolated rain and thunderstorms in areas such as Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Kurram, Kohat, Karak, Hangu, Lakki Marwat, and Waziristan during the evening or night.
