Amid security concerns, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other prominent figures have been advised to offer Eid prayers at home, disrupting traditional celebrations for political leaders in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The looming threat of terrorism has cast a shadow over Eid festivities in the province. The federal government has issued precautionary directives to political and religious leaders, urging them to exercise caution. Many, including Maulana Fazlur Rehman, have been specifically requested to perform their Eid prayers at their residences.

Authorities have also instructed political figures to limit public Eid gatherings and implement security measures at their homes and guest houses. The provincial government has arranged special security for key political personalities while urging the general public to adopt necessary precautions during the festive period.
