Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police targeted in 68 attacks this year
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police have once again come under attack, with terrorists carrying out 68 assaults so far this year, resulting in the martyrdom of 26 police officers and injuries to 30 others.
In retaliatory operations, security forces have killed 69 militants.
According to documents from the KP Central Police Office, January saw 29 attacks on police, followed by 24 in February, and 15 in March so far.
These attacks have not only claimed the lives of police personnel but also damaged 10 police vehicles.

In response, law enforcement agencies launched extensive counterterrorism operations across various districts, successfully eliminating 69 terrorists.
Security officials emphasise that operations will continue to dismantle militant networks and safeguard the region.
