Google has launched a new capability for its Gemini Advanced AI chatbot, enabling it to recall and refer to previous conversations.

The company has announced the update in its latest Google blog post.

The tech giant stated that the new capability improved the functionality of Gemini by allowing it to recall and build on previous chats.

Gemini Advanced AI users can manage their data effectively. They can effortlessly review, delete, or control how long their chat history is retained.

The memory feature is initially available in English for Gemini Advanced subscribers through the Google One AI Premium Plan, accessible via both the Gemini web and mobile apps.

Users have the option to turn off Gemini Apps Activity through the My Activity section.

Gemini will also notify users when it references past chats in its responses.

Google planned to expand this feature to more languages and to Google Workspace Business and Enterprise customers in the coming weeks.
