In a shocking incident, a man named Mustafa and three of his cousins from the village of Gurdaswala near Chunian were kidnapped in Iran after being lured with promises of jobs in Italy. The kidnappers are demanding a ransom of Rs28 million per person.

The victims were allegedly approached by an agent working for a human smuggling ring. They paid Rs3.6 million each for the promise of passage to Italy. Instead, they were handed over to kidnappers in Tehran, Iran.

Horrifying videos have been sent to the victims’ families showing the men being brutally tortured and stripped naked. The kidnappers have threatened to kill them if the ransom is not paid.

The victims’ families are distraught. Mustafa’s wife and four children are inconsolable, and his elderly parents are also deeply affected. They have appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for help, stating they cannot afford the ransom even if they sold all their possessions.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has launched an investigation and arrested two suspects, with raids underway to apprehend others involved in the kidnapping. The families have also appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan for intervention and action to secure the release of the abducted men. The community is demanding justice and the safe return of Mustafa and his cousins.
