DIG Operations of Islamabad Police suspended ASI Muhammad Farooq after taking notice of the incident of torturing the accused in the police van.

A video of police brutally beating two suspects who were arrested for stealing mobile phones from Sector I-8 of Islamabad in a police van has surfaced on social media.

Instead of taking the arrested thieves to the police station, the police officers began the ‘investigation’ in the police van, includign a severe beating.

DIG Operations took strict notice of the incident and suspended ASI Muhammad Farooq for abuse of his powers.
