Gold prices continued to increase in Pakistan as the new week began, in keeping with a trend in the international market.

According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of gold surged by Rs1,500 to reach Rs215,400.

The price also recorded an increase of Rs1,286 per 10 grams to reach Rs184,671.

In the international market, the price of gold rose by $12 to reach $2,050 per ounce.
