Earthquake tremors have been felt in various areas of Islamabad and adjoining cities early on Friday.

Tremors lasting for two to three seconds were also felt in several cities of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir.

People came out of their homes in panic and started reciting verses from the Holy Quran.

No loss of life or property was reported from any part of the country due to the quake.
