Pakistan has issued a tender seeking two spot cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG), according to a tender notice posted online.

Pakistan LNG, a government subsidiary that procures LNG from the international market, is seeking the cargoes for delivery on Dec 7-8 and 13-14.

The tender will close on Oct 4.

Pakistan LNG had last issued tenders seeking nine spot cargoes in June. It received bids from commodities trader Trafigura to deliver two cargoes in January and February, but it did not award the tender as the price levels were still too high.
