Stray bullet kills young boy in Karachi
Abdul Ghani was the eldest among five siblings
A six-year-old boy named Abdul Ghani was shot dead by a stray bullet on the Korangi-Qayyumabad bridge in Karachi.
The boy’s father, Abdul Rauf, said that the child was sitting in the backseat of a high roof with his family when a stray bullet from an unknown direction smashed the window and hit him.
The family was returning home after meeting the victim’s younger sister who is undergoing medical treatment in a private hospital.
The father said that Abdul Ghani was the eldest among five siblings.
The child will be buried in the family’s hometown of Naushahro Feroze, Sindh.
