Sindh Police reaches Islamabad to take Sheikh Rasheed in custody

The politician is already on a two-day remand

A Sindh Police team has reached Islamabad to take Sheikh Rasheed into custody. The politician is already in police custody on a two-day remand.

Although Sheikh Rasheed was originally arrested in a case regarding allegations against PPP Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, a new case was registered against him in Karachi for threats against Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday. The FIR was registered in Mochko police station.

Sheikh Rasheed also has an FIR registered against him in Murree. His nephew Rashid Shafique has confirmed the FIR in Karachi and announced that he will approach the court against it.
