Former federal minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Daniyal Aziz was critically injured in a traffic accident on Thursday.

The ill-fated incident occurred in Punjab’s Shakargarh when a speeding truck collided with the car of the PML-N leader.

Aziz sustained critical injuries while his driver died on the spot.

The PML-N leader has been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Narowal for medical assistance.
