Prime Minister's throwback image from a 2017 trip to Kohistan has won hearts on Instagram.

It appeared to have hundreds of thousands of admirers nearly a day after it was shared.

The Prime Minister is an active social media user and his team uses all platforms to engage with his followers.

He's amassed 5.4m followers on Instgram and isn't following anyone on that platform.

Most of his Instagram posts are of work related matters but he occasionally posts throw back images to offer followers a glimpse from his past.

This picture from earlier this month with his father and uncle is one example of that glimpse.
