Two soldiers embraced martyrdom in a terrorist attack from inside Afghanistan across the Pak-Afghan border in Dwatoi District on Wednesday, said the ISPR.

ISPR released the names of the dead as Havaldar Saleem age 43 and Lance Naik Pervaiz age 35 years.

Terrorists opened fire on a military post in Dwatoi and the Pakistan Army responded.

The statement said Pakistan has consistently been asking Afghanistan to ensure effective border control on its side.
