KARACHI: Gold prices on Thursday gained a sizeable value on the local market, traders said.

The precious metal price grew by Rs1600 per tola, reaching Rs104500.

Price of gold per 10 grams increased by Rs1372 to Rs89582 on the domestic market. Gold was quoted selling for $1712 per ounce on the world market. Silver was available for Rs1320 per tola; Rs1131.68 per 10 grams and $24.34 per ounce, traders said. Brecorder
