The situation escalated after an attempted abduction of nine female teachers in Jacobabad last week.

Armed bandits intercepted a school van near Sodho Banglani village in the jurisdiction of B-Section Police Station, attempting to kidnap the educators.

However, residents intervened, prompting the assailants to flee after firing shots into the air.

The horrifying incident, captured on video, went viral on social media, showing the terrified teachers reciting verses from the Quran as the armed men surrounded them.

Fearing for their safety, the female teachers have refused to return, forcing the school to remain closed.

Parents and students are now calling on authorities to take immediate action to restore security and resume classes.
